In episode 50, I talk with Michelina and Darren about Dreamcoat Fantasy Theatre, a charitable organization dedicated to providing musical theatre experience for the children and families of the North Bay area. Their primary focus is “Theatre for Children by Children” and they accomplish this by producing up to four shows per year with children from ages 5 to 14 and one adult/family show.

ALL DAY SATURDAY, JUNE 22nd – Free and Open to all – Showcase of Dreamcoat’s 25 years of spreading joy through children’s theatre, a silent auction, and photo booths!
From 9AM to 5PM – Showtune Karaoke song-a-thon starts at 9am and will run all day long – All ages encouraged to come sing their favourite showtunes!! Each participant will be given a sponsorship form to raise money. There will be prizes for different levels of money raised as well as some fun prizes awarded during the event by special guest judges. This event will continue into the evening as long as there are people still wanting to sing! All songs should be from a recognized musical (TV/Film/Stage). Even if you don’t want to sing, there is no charge to come and enjoy the talent and maybe even hum along.
6:00 pm – GALA Dinner – Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner with live music and celebrate Dreamcoat’s 25 years of Children’s Musical Theatre!
Enjoy a journey through the years of Dreamcoat Fantasy Theatre; laugh, sing and even dance as we remember the special moments and the Magic that has brought joy for 25 years. Tickets for the Dinner are $100/person or $900 for a table of 10.
